TNTlite Limits
Our FREE Version of TNTmips Has Some Limits
Carefully selected
limitations have been placed on the TNTlite products. You can use
TNTlite to learn all about spatial data analysis, GIS, image processing, CAD,
and desktop cartography. However you will begin to encounter the system limits
if you undertake a large-scale project. After all, we make our living
developing and selling the professional version of TNTmips, which handles
geodata of practically unlimited size. The idea for TNTlite is that the limits
let you do a project for a neighborhood, but not for a whole city. As
you see below, TNTlite limits are on the internal complexity of each
geodata layer you use in your project, not on that layer's geographic
extent. (Layers can have larger extent if they also have reduced
detail.) Thus, you can use TNTlite to compete a map, image analysis,
or other project covering a city or even a continent if your geodata layers
have sparser synoptic content.
