This Precision Ranching Demo Atlas created by Bert Wallace

A number of precision ranching management layers are collected in this atlas of the Peace Pipe Ranch in Texas.  Three distinct sections of the ranch are covered with recent Landsat overview imagery.  CIR airphotos from 1993 and 1998 are used to calculate mesquite canopy for brush control treatments.  Mesquite canopy from the two dates are compared in difference rasters.

Other geodata layers include

• soil map polygons,

• an attached oil well database.
