Making DEMs and Orthoimages
The overlap area
in a stereo pair of airphotos or satellite images contains 3D information
you can use to create an elevation raster (DEM). Then put an input DEM
together with an airphoto or satellite image to create an orthoimage: an
image that has been processed to remove systematic distortions of
distance, perspective, and other factors so that the result has map-like
geometry. (Sample data exceeds TNTlite limits.)
