TIGA:� (historical term)� Texas Instruments Graphics Architecture.� An early software interface that standardized communication between application software and display boards that used one of the TMS340 chips. TIGA divided tasks between the TMS340 display processor and the CPU of the host microcomputer to improve performance and generalize display driver requirements.�
